Very good color and tone on this Colombian emerald cut.

Clarity is moderate

Standard clarity enhancement - oil, resin, or polymer.

What looks like inclusions on the bottom left of the picture are actually reflections of external features on the pavilion. Basically the cutter left some exposed pits (part of the natural rough) on the back.. This is more common than I prefer but a good example of what commercial cut stones are like. Emerald rough is very expensive and the cutter chose to leave the pits in place rather than lose half a carat or more in finished weight. This emerald is beautiful face up and I find these reflections to be mildly distracting. The color and tone are what you are paying for in this emerald. If the cutter had cut past these external features the value would increase to about $3000 per carat but the size would have shrunk to 1-1.25 carats total.

This emerald has very nice crystal along with the exceptional color and tone.
