This 1.20 carat emerald cut emerald is new to our inventory today. This Colombian emerald is a nice example of what some call a stop light green emerald or grass green emerald. Usually what people are describing is an emerald with very good to good color and medium tone. Although not considered “top color” medium tone emeralds are often my favorite. They tend to be very bright and look great in all types of lighting situations. They look particularly good at night in low light settings such as restaurants.

Overall this emerald has good to very good color, medium tone, moderate inclusions, good cutting, a moderate level of enhancement, and measures 7.0 x 5.9 x 3.9mm. The main drawback of this Colombian emerald is that some of the internal inclusions are slightly yellow. You should be able to see this in the photos. You can’t see this with your naked eye but you can with a loop. This emerald is priced accordingly at $1000 per carat or $1200 total. This 1.20 carat emerald is available now.
